GEOTECHMIN GROUP welcomes 30 students to its Summer Internship Programmes
Thirty students from various universities and academic disciplines will complete their summer internships at companies in GEOTECHMIN GROUP. During the programme, they will be able to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world work environment, gain practical experience and dehvelop new skills, while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Twenty-seven students have been admitted to Ellatzite-Med AD’s Summer Internship Programme. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the company’s initiative to train students at its Mine and Flotation Complexes. The interns will gain firsthand experience in modern mining by working in the production, engineering and administrative departments. Some of them have chosen the company for a second time to upgrade their previous practical experience, while others are continuing a family tradition inspired by their parents.
Over the years, more than five hundred young specialists have participated in Ellatzite-Med’s internship programmes. Today, eighty of them are part of the company’s full-time team, with some now mentoring the next generation of interns and passing on their expertise.
Three students will complete their internships at other companies in the Group. Two of them will join Geostroy AD, where they will work in the Construction Department and the Geodesy and Land Surveying Department, while the third student will intern at Geoproject EOOD, a design company. Through their participation in real design-build projects, they will work with experienced professionals and gain practical knowledge and skills in their respective fields.

During the internship, each student is paired with a personal mentor – an experienced professional who introduces them to the work processes, shares practical knowledge and supports the development of their professional skills. As a result, the internship programmes provide not only valuable hands-on experience but also a solid foundation for the students’ future careers.
