Roads and Equipment EAD has more than 50 years of experience in construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads and road infrastructure. The company was founded in 1964 as a municipal enterprise for repair and maintenance of roads and bridges on the territory of Sofia Municipality. Since 2006, it has been part of GEOTECHMIN GROUP.

Today the company’s assets include:

• An asphalt plant in Vrazhdebna Quarter with a Marini batch mix asphalt plant (100 t/hour) and a large storehouse
• A quarry for extraction of crushed rock aggregates in the vicinity of Gradets village, Kostinbrod Municipality
• A service centre for car and machine repairs in Orlandovtsi Quarter with a repair shop, a corporate petrol station and a storehouse

COMPLETED PROJECTS
Along with doing current road repairs in Sofia, the company has also completed other projects and services, such as: repairs and overbuilding of the left correction dyke on the River Lesnovska in the vicinity of Dolni Bogrov village (in 2020); winter maintenance and summer cleaning of roads in Vitosha Nature Park; reconstruction of Opalchenska Str. in the section from Al. Stamboliyski Blvd to Todor Alexandrov Blvd (in 2009), etc. As a partner in consortia with companies from GEOTECHMIN GROUP, Roads and Equipment EAD has also participated in EU-funded projects for construction of motorways, rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads outside Sofia, such as: rehabilitation and reconstruction of Road III-306 Lukovit - Cherven Bryag – Knezha (26.5 km) implemented by Patishta Pam Consortium in 2012-2013; rehabilitation of Road III-3004 Trastenik – Orehovitsa – Road III-137 implemented by DZZD Trastenik 2012 Consortium in 2012-2013; Lot 2, Road II-81 Kostinbrod – Buchin Pass from km 8+200 to km 30+400 implemented by DZZD Patishta 2016 – 1st Stage Consortium (Geostroy AD, Patstroy-92 AD, Roads and Equipment EAD).

CERTIFICATES
Roads and Equipment EAD is listed in the Central Register of Professional Builders at the Bulgarian Construction Chamber for executing construction works in all site categories from groups 1 to 5.
