Road Company AD was established in 2006. The company manages, controls and coordinates the activities of the subsidiaries engaged in infrastructural construction and road maintenance:
- Road Maintenance–Sofia EOOD
- Road Maintenance–Lom EOOD
- Road Maintenance–Godech EOOD
- Road Maintenance–Berkovitza EOOD
- Bekastroy EAD, Samokov
These companies perform construction, maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of roads and road facilities. They are also engaged in the construction of urban and municipal communication systems and the related infrastructure, as well as in winter road maintenance. Other activities include grassing and landscaping, riverbed corrections, building of purifying facilities for drinking and waste waters, and construction of municipal solid waste landfills.
Many of the road companies’ production plants are situated in Sofia district. These include a plant for the manufacturing of road concrete articles (plates of various sizes and models, strips, curbs, elements for parking pavement), a crushing plant, and an asphalt plant for extraction and processing of inert materials and production of asphalt-concrete mixtures.
For the implementation of the first stage of the adopted in 2007 investment program, and in order to raise the competitiveness of the road companies, modern and highly efficient road construction machinery and transport equipment produced by some of the most famous makers were purchased.
Road Company works on PHARE projects and projects of Operational Programmes “Environment”, “Regional Development”, “Transport” and “Human Resources Development” financed by the EU Cohesion and Structural Funds.
Road Company AD focuses on the adoption of new technologies in production and in project development. One of the company’s main responsibilities is the strict observation of environmental laws and regulations.
Owing to the high professional qualification of the employees and the rich experience of the subsidiaries, Road Company has established itself on the Bulgarian market as a loyal partner and a responsible contractor in the field of infrastructural construction.
