On 26 November 2008 the first sod of a health centre was turned in the town of Berkovitsa. Investor of the huge investment project is Ellatzite-Med AD. The Executive Director of the company Dobri Tzvetkov traditionally slashed some water wishing success to the project in the presence of Dr. Eng. Tzolo Voutov, President of Geotechmin OOD, the Mayor of Vidin Municipality Milcho Dotsov and the Regional Governor Todor Varbanov. His Right Reverend Dometian, the Bishop of Vidin, blessed the rehabilitation center.
