Ellatzite-Med AD recently purchased the mineral baths in Berkovitsa and a terrain of 17 decares around them. The company is planning to build a SPA hotel and a holiday resort.

According to the privatization contract, Ellatzite-Med has to invest in the repairing of the baths and to employ local people for the construction of the new complex. Equipment for remedial procedures will be supplied for the baths. A hotel or summer houses will be constructed on an area of 10.5 decares in “St. George the Victorious” park.

This is the most important privatization transaction for the municipality. It makes Ellatzite-Med AD the biggest private investor in Berkovitsa.
