Prof. Dsc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov received two prestigious awards
Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov was honoured with two special recognition awards in April 2019.
At a solemn ceremony on 16 April, Prof. Dr. Tzolo Voutov was awarded the Honorary Sign of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) by the Rector Prof. Dr. Eng. Mitko Georgiev. This is the highest civilian honor bestowed by the university. Prof. Voutov was recognized “for promoting the multilateral academic and professional relations between UCTM and the Scientific and Technical Union of Mining, Geology and Metallurgy, and on the occasion of his 70th anniversary”. The award ceremony took place at the UCTM and was attended by the Council of Rectors and its Chairman Prof. Dr. Eng. Lyuben Totev, Mr. Ivan Vutov, PhD – Vice President of Geotechmin OOD and Deputy Chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria, Mr. Dominic Hamers – Executive Director of Geotechmin OOD, as well as the management team of the Scientific and Technical Union of Mining, Geology and Metallurgy, representatives of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the academic community.
In early April, Prof. DSc. Eng. Tzolo Voutov received the highest award of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The Chairperson of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov presented to the President of Geotechmin OOD a bronze statuette HERMES and a certificate of merit “for his outstanding contribution to achieving BCCI’s objectives and activities, long-standing support and positive role in the Bulgarian economic growth, and on the occasion of his 70th anniversary”.
Prof. Voutov expressed his heartfelt gratitude at the two events, emphasizing that the awards are also recognition and appreciation to the entire team standing behind him.
