Ellatzite-Med AD kicks off its 2019 Summer Internship Programme

On 1 July 2019, Ellatzite-Med AD kicked off its Summer Internship Programme for the ninth consecutive year. It offers paid opportunities for undergraduate university students and young specialists without practical experience in their specialty.
Ellatzite-Med’s Summer Internship Programme is conducted from July to September 2019 on the two operating sites of the company – the Mine Complex and the Flotation Complex.
This year 37 students from various universities in Bulgaria and abroad participate in the programme. They will be able to join the company team and to practise the knowledge and skills obtained during their training.
The official opening started with a welcoming speech of the Human Resources Director Mrs Milena Hristova to the participants and their mentors. She congratulated the young specialists for their choice to undertake their summer internship in Ellatzite-Med, a 44-year-old company which has been part of GEOTECHMIN GROUP for 20 years.
Mrs Daniela Goranova and Mrs Mariana Ivanova from Staff Recruitment, Training and Qualification Department acquainted the interns with the company’s scope of activity. The Occupational Health and Safety Manager M.Eng. Spas Penkov gave them clear instructions on the health and safety statutory obligations to keep their workplaces safe.
The official opening concluded with a guided tour to two main production units in the Flotation Complex – the Secondary and Fine Crushing Unit, and the Milling and Flotation Plant. This day gave a good start to the interns who are going to enrich their theoretical knowledge with practical experience in the forthcoming months. By doing so, they will upgrade their skills in a real work environment which will provide them with many future employment prospects.
