Geoproject EOOD is an engineering company established in 2005. It specializes in comprehensive design of industrial, civil and ecological projects. The company develops designs for the reconstruction and modernization of already existing sites, as well as technical surveys, analyses and expert reports. It is also engaged in surveying and design activities connected with the extraction of quarry materials necessary for all types of construction.

Geoproject designers are members of the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design in Bulgaria and have full design qualification.

Major tasks for Geoproject are: 1) performing research and preparing designs to ensure the production activities of Ellatzite-Med AD, and 2) supporting the group’s Construction business unit. One of the largest projects carried out by the company was “Relocation of the Existing Primary Crushing Unit and Optimization of Ore Transportation”, better known as the “Primary Crushing Unit No.3” project. A number of new drafts for the extraction of additional 50 to 60 million tons of ore are being prepared for Ellatzite-Med AD together with the respective schedules and transportation schemes to the pit dumps.

Geoproject EOOD is also working on a program for the modernization of the flotation plant in the village of Mirkovo. It envisages the provision of relevant resources to the technological production units with the aim of extending their operational life. Moreover, in order to dispose of the tailings from the growing production of Ellatzite-Med, Geoproject EOOD is preparing a new design for the extension of tailings pond “Benkovski II”.
