The company was established in the beginning of 1999. It specializes mainly in consulting and engineering services in the area of drill-and-blast works. Explosivprogress-GTM is a distributor of water-resistant emulsion explosives which are produced at the “Ellatzite” explosive factory. In 2007 these products acquired a CE-certificate allowing their sale in both EU member-states and non-member countries.

Explosivprogress-GTM OOD uses modern equipment and software products for various types of measuring and analyses.

One of the company’s most important projects for 2007 was the implementation of drill-and-blast works at “Svrazhen” micro hydropower plant of the “Sreden Iskar” cascade. In the same year a considerable volume (1,367 tons) of matrix solution – an intermediate product for the manufacturing of explosives – was exported to Greece.

Explosivsprogress-GTM OOD provides “Ellatzite” mine with comprehensive services including exploration, design and consultation connected with:

• Contoured blasting as one of the main factors ensuring long-term ore extraction;
• Increasing the efficiency of the drill-and-blast works through ensuring rational granulometry of the blasted mining mass;
• Providing explosion-seismic protection of the rubber transportation conveyor and Primary Crushing Unit No.3;
• Check tests of the explosive materials manufactured by “Ellatzite” explosives plant through measuring their detonation speed.
