July 1, 2010 was the start date of Geotechmin’s trainee program. For the second year in a row the company gives young students a chance to combine the theoretical and practical aspect of their chosen future job. The trainees are paid, and the program is in line with Geotechmin’s plan for supporting young specialists by giving them an opportunity to face real work challenges and to experience actual working environment.

More than 220 applications were submitted for the originally announced 13 positions. Due to the great interest, EHS Department added another 3 trainee positions, and IT and HR Departments increased their number of positions with 1 each.

A total of 18 applicants were approved for participation in the program which will be held in July and August in the following departments:

• HR Department – 3 positions
• EHS Department – 5 positions
• Construction Department – 4 positions
• Subway Construction Department – 2 positions
• IT Department – 3 positions
• Operational Services Department – 1 positions

Upon completion of the program, each trainee is going to receive a certificate for participation. Good luck to all students and may they take the best from their experience at our company!
