In July and August 2009 Geotechmin OOD carried out a paid trainee program as part of the company’s strategy for supporting the professional development and qualification of young people in Bulgaria.

Over 380 people applied for 17 training positions. Geotechmin accepted trainees in company departments HR, Legal affairs, Real estate, EHS, Construction, Subway construction, Marketing, Natural resources and concessions, Financial analysis and control.

Participation in the trainee program has provided the students with opportunities for accumulation of practical experience in real work environment, for skill development and building of work habits, for identification of one’s own capabilities and potential for future career development, for acquaintance with the corporate culture and the working atmosphere in the company.

Those who successfully completed the program received special certificates at an official ceremony. The trainees with the highest results will be enlisted in the database of potential job candidates. They will have the chance to be invited to start permanent work at the company or to participate in various projects.
