On December 12, 1990 three mining engineers established Geotechmin OOD to provide consulting and engineering services for the mining industry in Bulgaria.
Since then the company has developed its range of activities to include industrial, infrastructural, civil and environmental engineering as well as real estate development. Geotechmin successfully operates Ellatzite mine – the largest open-pit copper-gold mine in Bulgaria.
Today the GEOTECHMIN group is engaged in 5 business units, namely Mining, Construction, Infrastructure, Environment and Real Estate and Investment Projects. It is represented by more than 20 companies with a total work force of some 4,500 people.
