Description of the project: Hundred and eighty meters of tunnel are driven through techno-born heaped rock material by means of the Symmetrix Method (a method of drilling through overburden with casing). This method is applied to 30 drills with diameter 89 mm on the circumference of the adit. The drill holes are then injected with cement mortar for strengthening of the massif. During the building process about 100,000 m of drills are made and about 1,000 cub.m. of strengthening solution is injected. The secondary lining is implemented with frames and around 650 cub.m. of reinforced concrete. Inside the adit a rubber conveyor is installed for the transportation of the crushed material. In addition, a dewatering ditch and a pedestrian section are built on the tunnel bottom. |
