Strengthening of the riverbed and dykes (total length – 1,125.5 m); supporting of Stari Silozi Quarry

Conducted works:

• Cutting and uprooting of trees – 320 units
• Filling with earth soils for supporting of Stari Silozi Quarry – 204,000 cub.m.
• Stone filling prism, including transition zones for quarry – 28,000 cub.m.
• Filling with earth soils for dikes for Iskar River correction – 67,000 cub.m.
• Drainage prisms and stone filling for Iskar River correction – 7,000 cub.m.
• Service roads around the Iskar River and in Stari Silozi Quarry
• Cell geosystem 10 cm – 36,500 sq.m.; cell geosystem 15 cm – 4,520 sq.m.
• Base from crushed gravel – 680 cub.m.; ballast base – 1,360 cub.m.
• Drainage concrete pipes – 12,600 sq.m.
• Drainage system HDPE pipes, diameter 200 mm – 1,140 m
• Grassing of the slopes – 104 decares
• Concrete works – 600 cub.m.
• Supply and installation of 3 m long reinforced concrete troughs – 145 units
• Installation of HDPE pipeline, diameter 315 mm – 200 m
• Installation of steel pipeline, diameter 400 mm – 100 m
• Drainage concrete pipes, diameter 300 mm – 780 m
• Supply and placement of bentonite (34.13 tons) – 5,250 sq.m.
• Piezometers (60 m) – 5 units
